Has anyone out there got any itneresting recipes for dog and can anyone tell me why there's such a taboo on dog meat in the west?

I've had horse as an in flight meal to Bulgaria once. There must be some breeds of dog that taste better than others. I'd imagine westies would make nice burgers.
